1.25″/2″ Laser Collimator

Description

A dual-barrel (1.25″ and 2″) laser collimator for aligning the mirrors of Newtonian reflector telescopes. Proper collimation is essential for sharp images and round stars — even slight mirror misalignment produces coma and distorted star shapes.

Insert the collimator into your focuser and the laser projects a beam onto the primary mirror. Adjust the secondary and primary mirror alignment screws until the laser reflects back precisely to the center target. The process takes just a few minutes and should be done before every imaging or observing session. Works with any Newtonian, Dobsonian, or truss-tube reflector with a 1.25″ or 2″ focuser.
