Finder shoe

Description

A sturdy metal finder shoe (also called a finder base or dovetail bracket) that mounts to your telescope’s optical tube. It provides the standard dovetail slot used by most finderscopes, red dot finders, laser pointers, and guide scope brackets.

The shoe attaches to the telescope via two screws and accepts any finder or accessory with a matching dovetail foot. Machined from metal for rigidity — an essential replacement part if your original finder shoe is damaged or if your telescope didn’t come with one.
