Converts Celestron C11 from f/10 to f/1.9 — massive aperture meets ultra-fast imaging for stunning deep-sky astrophotography.

SKU: HS4-C11 Categories: , ,

Description

The Starizona HyperStar 11 v4 converts your Celestron 11″ Schmidt-Cassegrain into an f/1.9 wide-field astrograph — 25 times faster than the native f/10 system. With 11 inches of aperture operating at f/1.9, this is one of the most powerful fast-imaging platforms available to amateur astronomers.

The v4 optics deliver a coma-free, flat field of view 3.7 degrees wide, and the system supports sensors up to 35mm diagonal — making it fully compatible with full-frame cameras. This combination of large aperture, fast focal ratio, and wide-field coverage is exceptional for capturing faint extended objects in remarkably short exposures.

Like all HyperStar systems, the C11 version replaces the removable Fastar secondary mirror, placing your camera at the front of the telescope. The short exposures and wide field make unguided imaging on alt-azimuth mounts entirely practical. One camera adapter (threaded for 2″ filters) is included.
