Description
The Starizona EvoFF transforms the popular SkyWatcher EvoGuide 50ED guidescope into a sharp, portable wide-field imaging telescope. Without a flattener, the EvoGuide produces curved fields with soft stars at the edges — the EvoFF corrects this, delivering flat, well-corrected images across the sensor.
The v3 version features 55mm backfocus, making it compatible with both DSLRs and popular dedicated astronomy cameras. It has also been tested and confirmed to work great with the Askar 52mm Super ED guidescope.
This is an excellent solution for portable, lightweight astrophotography setups — mount an EvoGuide 50ED with the EvoFF on a star tracker and you have a capable 242mm f/4.8 imaging system weighing under 1 kg.
