Description
The Lunt DSII is an internal double stack module that dramatically enhances the H-alpha performance of your Lunt 80mm or 100mm Universal Telescope. Double stacking narrows the bandpass from less than 0.65 Å to less than 0.45 Å, revealing dramatically more surface detail — granulation, spicules, and fine filament structure that are invisible in single-stack mode.
The DSII module installs internally within the telescope’s optical path. Combined with the pressure-tuned primary etalon, double stacking creates a narrower, more defined view of the chromosphere while maintaining the ease of Doppler True Tuning.
