The Lunt LS50C is a compact double-stack filter designed specifically for the Lunt LS50THa H-alpha solar telescope. Adding this filter reduces the bandpass to <0.5 Å, dramatically increasing contrast for professional-quality views of solar surface detail, prominences, and chromospheric structures.
The LS50C screws directly onto the front of the LS50THa — no factory modification required. It’s a straightforward user-installable upgrade that transforms a single-stack telescope into a double-stack system.
Important: This filter cannot be used without a Lunt blocking filter.
