2. Orders & Payments
Orders are placed through our online store. A binding contract is formed when the customer confirms the order and payment is received. An order confirmation is sent via email.
Pricing: All prices include VAT (25.5% for Finland). Prices are in Euros (EUR). We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.
Payment methods: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and other payment methods shown at checkout. Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe (WooPayments).
3. Shipping & Delivery
Delivery area: We ship to Finland and all EU countries. For shipments outside the Nordics, customs duties or import fees may apply and are the customer’s responsibility.
Delivery time: Items in stock ship within 1–3 business days. Made-to-order items take 1–4 weeks. Estimated delivery time is shown in the order confirmation.
Shipping methods:
- Posti — parcel to pickup point or home delivery (Finland)
- Matkahuolto — parcel to pickup point (Finland)
- Local pickup in Rovaniemi — by appointment
- International shipping — via Posti or DHL
Shipping costs: Calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. Free shipping for orders over €200 within Finland.
4. Right of Withdrawal
Under EU consumer protection law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases. The withdrawal period begins from the day you or a third party designated by you receives the product.
Conditions for return:
- Product must be unused and in original condition
- Product must be in its original packaging
- Withdrawal notice must be sent in writing to: info@nordicastro.com
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the product is defective or incorrect. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the return.
5. Warranty & Complaints
All products carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty periods vary by product. If you receive a defective product, please contact our customer service as soon as possible. Your statutory consumer rights apply.
To file a complaint, email info@nordicastro.com with your order number, description of the issue, and photos.
6. Limitation of Liability
NordicAstro is not liable for indirect damages. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by force majeure.
7. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes are primarily resolved through negotiation. Consumers have the right to refer disputes to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). EU consumers may also use the Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
