With iOptron’s extensive expertise in crafting precision mounts over several decades, the HAE69 brings this concept to life.

By employing advanced strain wave gear technology for both right ascension (RA) and declination (DEC) movements, the HAE69s provide unmatched efficiency in terms of weight-to-payload ratio. Its sleek black anodized, all-metal CNC machined body not only appeals to the eye but also ensures rugged performance for many years to come. Notable features, such as an electronic friction brake and power-down memory, enable the mount to safely pause and resume GoTo slews or continue tracking even after an unexpected power outage, eliminating the need for realignment from scratch.

The HAE69C dual SWG Alt-az/Eq mounts now come with an internal main board and no longer require a handset for operation. The mount offers USB ports on both the mount base and saddle, which directly connect to the main board for mount control and firmware updates. Additionally, it boasts a built-in Wi-Fi feature for easy connectivity.

For an enhanced user experience, especially in extreme temperatures, the optional Go2Nova® handset with OLED display is available.

The HAE69C EC model includes a high-precision RA axis encoder, ensuring remarkable tracking accuracy, to the point that many users may opt to capture images without the need for guiding.
