Askar 65PHQ – 65mm f/6.5 Petzval Quadruplet Astrograph
1 020,00 €
65mm f/6.5 Petzval quadruplet astrograph with built-in field flattener. Flat, coma-free field across full-frame sensors — no external flattener needed.
Description
The Askar 65PHQ is a 65mm f/6.5 Petzval quadruplet astrograph designed specifically for deep-sky astrophotography. The 5-element optical design (including a dedicated field flattener group) delivers a completely flat, coma-free field across full-frame sensors — no additional flattener or reducer needed out of the box.
With a 422mm focal length at f/6.5, the 65PHQ hits a sweet spot between field of view and image scale that works beautifully for a wide range of deep-sky targets. The Petzval design keeps the optical train short and compact while delivering edge-to-edge sharpness that rivals much more expensive instruments.
The PHQ series from Askar uses premium FPL-53 ED glass elements and multi-coated optics for excellent colour correction and contrast. The focuser is a precision 2.5″ rack-and-pinion design with 1:10 fine focus ratio. A built-in dovetail and tube rings make setup quick and straightforward.
