Darkening Rings D88/D90

Description

ZWO darkening rings for D88 and D90 diameter cameras and filter wheels. These rings install between your camera and filter wheel (or other optical train components) to block stray light from entering the imaging path through gaps in the connections.

Stray light causes unwanted gradients, glow, and reduced contrast in your images — especially in narrowband imaging where you’re trying to capture faint signal. The darkening rings are sized to fit the internal diameter of ZWO’s larger camera and filter wheel housings (ASI6200, ASI2600, EFW 7×36mm, etc.). A small but impactful addition to your imaging train.
