EAF Temperature Sensor

Description

The ZWO EAF Temperature Sensor monitors ambient temperature at your telescope’s focuser and enables automatic temperature compensation. As temperature drops during a long imaging session, the telescope tube contracts and focus shifts — the EAF can use this sensor’s readings to automatically adjust focus and keep your stars sharp all night.

The sensor attaches to the focuser drawtube or telescope tube near the focuser with a simple clip. It connects to the EAF unit via a cable and reports temperature to ASCOM/INDI-compatible software (NINA, APT, KStars). Temperature compensation coefficients can be calibrated per telescope for precise automated refocusing.
