The iOptron GEM45 has been designed with portability in mind, weighing in at only 7.2 kg, it can support up to a 20 kg payload! The mount has an incredible 2.8 payload to mount weight ratio.

With the GEM45’s internal advanced cable management system, there is little chance of your cables getting snagged. The mount also features a new, patent pending Universal Self-Centering Saddle (USCS) that accommodates both Losmandy and Vixen style dovetail plates.

The GEM45 is equipped with the latest advanced GOTONOVA GOTO technology, making it one of the most powerful and accurate GOTO mounts available. The 212,000 object library ensures you’ll never run out of targets to see or image. The Go2Nova Hand Controller is intuitive to use and its large 4-line LCD screen simplifies the process of setting telescopes and locating objects.

A sturdy Literoc tripod with 1.75″ steel legs is included. The GEM45 also has an integrated iPolar electronic polar finder scope.
