The Lunt 16mm Flat-Field Eyepiece delivers a sharp, distortion-free view across the entire field — ideal for solar observation where edge-to-edge clarity matters. At 16mm focal length, it provides a comfortable medium magnification suitable for scanning the solar disc and studying active regions.
Coated with Lunt’s 0.1% anti-reflective coatings — the same etalon-grade coatings used in their H-alpha filters — it minimises internal reflections for maximum contrast when observing prominences, filaments, and chromospheric detail.
