Description
The Lunt 2″ Rack & Pinion Focuser is a precision dual-speed focuser designed for Lunt Modular Telescopes (MT Series). It features a 10:1 fine reduction ratio for smooth micro-adjustments — essential for achieving critical focus during high-magnification solar observation and imaging.
The 2″ drawtube provides 55–60mm of total travel with a compression ring that accepts both 2″ and 1.25″ accessories (adapter included). Built with tight mechanical tolerances, it handles accessory loads up to 3 kg (6.5 lbs) with excellent stability.
This focuser comes standard on Lunt 60MT, 80MT, and 100MT telescopes and connects via M68 or M90 threads depending on the telescope aperture. It is fully compatible with ZWO EAF and Optec motorised focus systems for automated focusing.
