The Lunt 40mm is the most compact and affordable entry point into dedicated H-alpha solar observing. Despite its small size, this telescope delivers the sharp, high-contrast views that Lunt is known for, producing an approximately 4.0mm solar image that reveals prominences, filaments, and surface detail with surprising clarity.

The built-in pressure-tuned etalon allows precise bandpass adjustment, bringing different layers of solar activity into focus with a simple turn of the tuning knob. Lightweight and extremely portable, the LS40T is an ideal grab-and-go solar scope for field trips, eclipses, or quick observing sessions from the backyard.
