Description
The Lunt 70mm MT Refractor is the optical tube assembly behind the popular LS60MT Universal Telescope — now available separately for those who want a high-quality compact refractor without the H-alpha module.
This is an ED APO doublet refractor with an FPL51 objective lens, delivering excellent colour correction for nighttime, terrestrial, and daytime white light solar viewing. The included dual-speed 10:1 rack and pinion focuser provides precise focusing, and the clamshell mount allows easy attachment to any Vixen-style dovetail.
At just over 2.3 kg, the 70mm MT Refractor is a true grab-and-go scope. It is also 100% upgradeable — add a Lunt H-alpha module, Ca-K module, or white light wedge to convert it for solar observation at any time.
