Description
The Lunt LE80 OTA is an 80mm f/7 ED doublet refractor designed for versatile use — white light solar, calcium-K solar, and nighttime observation. Sold under the Lunt Engineering brand (a division of Lunt Solar Systems) to distinguish it from dedicated H-alpha telescopes, this OTA can be paired with Lunt solar accessories for daytime use or a star diagonal for nighttime viewing.
The 560mm focal length and ED doublet optics deliver excellent colour correction, making it suitable for both visual observation and astrophotography. The included dual-speed 10:1 rack & pinion focuser provides precise focusing, and the ring assembly with Vixen-style dovetail allows easy mounting.
