Description

The Lunt LS100FHa is a 100mm aperture front-mount hydrogen-alpha solar filter designed to convert a customer-supplied refractor into an H-alpha solar telescope. The integrally tuned etalon has a root-3 non-centralised obstruction and delivers an estimated bandpass of <0.70 Å, providing high-contrast views of both surface detail and limb prominences.

The filter is easily removable, so the host telescope can continue to be used for nighttime observation. It includes adapters for refractors up to 102mm aperture. For larger refractors, contact the manufacturer for custom adapter options.

The LS100FHa can also be used to double-stack on an existing Lunt 100mm solar telescope or filter, narrowing the bandpass to approximately <0.5 Å for significantly higher contrast and resolution.

Important: A Lunt blocking filter (sold separately) is required for safe viewing with this filter.
