Description
The Lunt LS152THa is the largest dedicated H-alpha solar telescope available, delivering unmatched resolution and performance for serious solar observers and imagers. With a 152mm fully unobstructed refractor design and an internal HD etalon achieving less than 0.65 Å bandpass, this instrument reveals solar detail that smaller telescopes simply cannot reach.
The Doppler True Tuning pressure system provides an order of magnitude more precision than traditional tilt-tuning. When observing filaments, you can Doppler-shift from the base to the tip, following the structure toward and away from you — adding a three-dimensional component to the viewing experience. Active regions, spicules, surface granulation, and prominences are rendered with extraordinary clarity.
The LS152THa also supports optional Ca-K module for calcium wavelength research, and can be converted for nighttime viewing with an available back plate and focuser kit.
