M54-Tilter

Description

The ZWO M54 Sensor Tilt Adapter allows precise correction of camera sensor tilt relative to the telescope’s optical axis. Sensor tilt causes uneven star shapes across the field — stars may be sharp on one side of the image but elongated on the other. This adapter lets you fine-tune the sensor angle to eliminate that problem.

Features M54×0.75mm threads and three adjustment screws that allow independent tilt control. Insert it between your camera and the telescope’s back-focus port (or field flattener/reducer). Particularly important with fast optical systems (f/4 and below) and large sensors where even slight tilt becomes very visible in the corners of your images.
