Introducing the newest addition to the popular RedCat family, the RedCat 61 APO from William Optics. This impressive refractor boasts a 61mm Petzval design and a fast focal ratio of F4.9. The lens is constructed with synthetic fluoride (FPL53 and FPL51) glass elements, ensuring a flat field image for full-frame photography.

Designed to deliver high-resolution images, the RedCat 61 APO excels in both astrophotography and wildlife photography. It incorporates William Optics’ innovative WIFD internal focusing mechanism, which guarantees zero flexure on the drawtube. What’s more, the focuser is compatible with the ZWO EAF, adding to its versatility.

Thanks to its compact size and fast f/4.9 focal ratio, the RedCat 61 is perfect for wide-field astrophotography and piggybacking. It comes with a field rotator that can be adjusted by degree, a slot for 48mm filters, and a reversible dovetail that accommodates Vixen style* or Arca-Swiss mounting.

Additionally, the RedCat 61 features the standard Cat Handle, allowing for the attachment of one of William Optics’ Uniguide/Slide Base Guidescopes for easy mounting.
