Starizona HyperStar 14 v4
2 099,00 €
The ultimate HyperStar — converts Celestron C14 to f/1.9 with 14 inches of aperture for unmatched wide-field deep-sky imaging.
Description
The Starizona HyperStar 14 v4 is the flagship of the HyperStar line, converting the massive Celestron 14″ Schmidt-Cassegrain into an f/2 wide-field astrograph with a 715mm focal length. With 14 inches of light-gathering aperture operating at f/2, this system captures an extraordinary amount of light — 25 times faster than the native f/10 configuration.
The C14 HyperStar covers sensors up to 43mm diagonal (full-frame), delivering a 3.45-degree field of view. This means you can frame large deep-sky objects with generous context while collecting signal at a rate that makes very short exposures viable — even unguided on an alt-azimuth mount.
Like all HyperStar systems, installation involves removing the Fastar-compatible secondary mirror and mounting the HyperStar lens assembly in its place, with the camera attached at the front of the telescope. A secondary mirror storage holder and one camera adapter (threaded for 2″ filters) are included.
