Starizona RASA 8 Filter Holder – M42 Threads

Description

The Starizona RASA 8 Filter Holder allows you to use standard 2″ filters with the Celestron RASA 8″ telescope when your camera is not compatible with the Filter Slider system.

The RASA 8 is a fast f/2 astrograph that places the camera at the front of the telescope. Due to this unique design, using filters requires a dedicated holder that sits between the camera and the telescope’s corrector plate assembly. This filter holder provides M42 threads and is designed for cameras with M54 threads and 17.5mm backfocus.

Ideal for one-shot colour camera users who need a single light pollution or UV/IR cut filter, or for narrowband imaging with a single filter at a time.
