Description

Introducing the Uranus-M Pro (IMX585) Camera by Player One Astronomy – the world’s first cooled camera equipped with the Sony IMX585 1/1.2″ format mono sensor, this camera delivers exceptional image quality. The 2.9um pixel size ensures a well depth of 47Ke, allowing for outstanding sensitivity and low-noise performance. With a resolution of 3856×2180 pixels and a diagonal measurement of 12.85mm, the Uranus-M Pro captures every intricate detail of celestial objects with incredible precision.

Inspired by the successful Ares cooled series, the Uranus-M Pro adopts a round body design in an eye-catching red and black color scheme. To maintain a lightweight profile without compromising durability, carbon fiber materials are used, resulting in a camera that is both visually striking and functional.

Incorporating innovative features, the Uranus-M Pro camera has a built in dual tilt-plate. The default front 3P tilt plate offers versatility and is suitable for most basic astrophotography scenarios. Players One Astronomy understands the needs of advanced users and provides a rear 4P tilt plate as well. This rear tilt plate becomes essential when utilizing a filter wheel, filter drawer, or Off-Axis Guider (OAG) with fixed angles. Additionally, it offers convenient adjustment options for users of the RASA system, optimizing the sensor tilt angle for specific requirements. The Uranus-M Pro camera incorporates a high-density sponge shading pad, effectively blocking side slits and preventing light leakage. This ensures precise light control during image capture, enhancing the overall image quality.
Uranus-M Pro also has an anti-dew PCB board that safeguards the camera from condensation, ensuring uninterrupted operation even in damp conditions.
