CEM120 10kg Counterweight (<10°)

Description

An iOptron CEM120 10kg counterweight designed specifically for use at low latitudes (below approximately 10° from the equator). At very low latitudes, the standard counterweight configuration can cause clearance issues with the tripod legs — this variant is shaped or positioned differently to maintain proper clearance throughout the mount’s full range of motion.

The CEM120 is a heavy-duty equatorial mount rated for large telescopes. If you’re operating from near-equatorial locations, this counterweight variant ensures safe, interference-free operation across all sky positions. Uses the CEM120’s standard 28mm diameter counterweight shaft.
